Horse Plait & Trim

This app contains everything you need to know about how to tidy up your horses head, mane, tail and feathers and how to plait up in order to have your horse looking at its best.

This app covers all aspects of trimming a horse from trimming the whiskers to the end of the tail, and what equipment to use.

It also explains all about plaiting up a horse, the "how, why and when" to plait as well as different types of plaits such as running plaits and macrame plaits. There are detailed text descriptions as well as sequences of clear pictures that show you how to plait up, trim and more.

Did you know that the shape of your horses neck can be enhanced by using different styles of plait? How to enhance the shape of your horses neck, and more top tips, are revealed in this app.

There is a section on tail plaiting which includes a troubleshooting section that explains, with images, what can go wrong with your tail plait and why it went wrong.

There are four sections:
Plaiting basics
Plaiting a mane
Plaiting a tail
Trimming

Each section has lots of pictures and detailed explanations. Now there will be no excuses for your horse or pony not being tidied up and plaited up neatly for that next show!

The content has been written by a British Horse Society Registered instructor so if you are studying for a BHS exam, a Riding Club or Pony Club test this app will be an invaluable study aid, not to mention great fun with the quiz!
